web site popularity
Link Exchanges simply equate to web site popularity among your
primary customers: the search engines. It is a primary form of search engine
marketing. And, link exchanges are a daily activity that is both manual and
automated. You cannot do it strictly manually simply because the need is so
demanding that you just wouldn't get enough done in a twenty-four hour day for
the rest of your life.
Do your best to exchange links with related sites.
Do your best to exchange links with sites that have a structured web link
directory broken down by category.
Treat every link exchange offer with respect.
Be careful who you link to as there are categories among the search engines that
they will dump into niche folders and you could find yourself dropped from the
main stream of internet marketing and search engine marketing activity.
If you are somewhat related to our sites, you may want to link
to them:
Rosey's Dating Chat
Room (Has an excellent affiliate program)
Trade Show Secrets (an excellent selling eBook)
Making the Perfect Sales
Call
and, of course, The ProShop
In getting started, set up your index page similar to ours
Set what you want to achieve and try to determine a number of categories
related to your site. Keep in mind that your links directory will ultimately
hold thousands of links spread over several sub categories.
Join Links
Partners. It's free and probably the best link exchange resource on the net.
And, if all this becomes just too much, they also have a program where they will
do it all for you for about $20 a month.
What we do each and every day is to add at least twenty-five
new, related links to each of our sites. We have one computer dedicated to both
finding these high value new related links as well as having that computer
re-check all the links pages to ensure that our side of the equation is being reciprocated.
If it isn't, our software identifies the delinquent link and we can either drop
it from our list or send the other webmaster a small note saying that we are
unable to find our link.
Our software spider is pretty thorough in going right through
the other person's web pages in search for our link. But, it does miss from time
to time. So, it is always best just to ask them to confirm where our link is
located.
There is a silly argument that you should accept only PR4 and
up. That's just nuts. That simply tells the search engines that your site is not
in demand but that you are on a purpose hunt for gravy sites with whom to do
link exchanges just for PR value.
The search engines like to site a micro cosmic view of the web
on your site. And, since the vast majority of sites are PR0, they like to see a
fair representation of PR0s on your site.
Okay:
The next four days. Four days is all you need to get this in motion.
Start your Link Exchange index page setting out your requested link parameters.
Use common sense.
Be prepared for a daily involvement in growing your link popularity through
daily infusion of new, high quality, related links.
Set in motion at least ten to twelve sub categories related to your site. This
list will grow, believe me.
Join Link Partners. And,
be very proactive with them.
Automate finding and link-back verification of your linking program. It is
important to note that checking your link backs is critical to your page rank.
The more links you have pointing to pages that don't link back to you actually
hurts your site popularity, hence... less traffic!
Set daily targets. And, watch your PR ranking with Google.
* How do you check your link popularity? Two ways:
A) Get a Google tool bar.
It's free.
B) Connect to this page
and fill in your site URL.
Automate the entire process.
Get yourself out of the habit of struggling to do all things manually. Your
time is either worth a lot more than that or it never will be. That is a mindset
choice you have to learn to make.
There are lots of software programs related to link exchanges. Many of them are
good... if you're a techie. Most of us are not.
Because Link Exchanges are crucially important to your growth or
survival online, we decided that the best way to do something of this importance
is to learn from and purchase the software from the guy who does web site link
exchanges the best.... Brad Callen.
Do as we did. Download his book here for free. It's quick and easy to read. And,
you will get it right from the horse's mouth as we did.
One of the primary reasons we went with this program is that
Brad includes his clients into his forum where any questions regarding link
exchanges are quickly answered. Brad also provides superior support. Again, not
being a techie, I need this kind of help and support. Most of us do.
So, start now. Set four days for completion of this task of
getting your link exchange program up and running smoothly. Get the software. Go
right into the forum. Then, read the manual and watch the videos. Then go back
to the forum for more understanding. then get started. Remember: Four days!
