( tutorial )
There are lost of people now getting in on this
traffic and adsense generating craze. It won't be long before the major search
engines will identify these types of sites and ignore them.
Looking at these templates of which I have over
200, I always caution (from experience) potential buyers of the following:
a) They are NOT instant traffic nor instant
revenue generators.
They are all poorly coded or not coded at all to where the search engines can
make any link between relevant and quality content and relevant and quality meta
tags.
Most don't even have a description.
That means, that when you grab a single template,
you have to create the tags from the content. And, where there may be upwards of
100 such templates within a niche folder, each and every one of them has to be
previewed, reviewed, and coded to harmonize the tags.
b) The content of these templates is
atrocious.
First and worst of all, they are just a constancy of spammed key phrases
regardless of how silly and stupid those phrases are. Never mind the fact of
horrific grammar and spelling errors. Just dreadful!
In fact, take: Winsor Pilates Workout
Videos.
Out of about 80 pages devoted to Winsor Pilates, you will get pages where at
least forty times they will work to generate reference to "Workout Pilates
Videos Winsor" or the like.
Of course, you know what they've done.
They have gone into something like Overture Suggestion Tool and found upwards of
eighty pages of key phrases supposed searched the month before that include
workout Pilates videos winsor.
Then, they stuffed these phrases throughout the
text in some dumb effort to spam the search engines to bring people to that page
and, hopefully, to get them to click on an adsense ad.
Then, net result: since the content is spam, no
traffic.
c) Even if you code your pages properly, the fact
that the weight and frequency of these silly phrases is way out of proportion to
what the search engines expect to be part of normal informative conversation,
your page, your template folder are spidered and instantly rejected.
How do we generate traffic to those pages that
should be able to generate traffic for themselves?
We create doorways of that template niche and
funnel that traffic to that template.
These doorways, themselves, contain Adsense as
well as RSS (and I discuss in another tutorial a particular kind of RSS that the
search engines prefer ).
So, for example, in Lantern of Knowledge, I have
each category (23 of them) built into the directory sending traffic either
directly to Adsense or to the template page which which was supposedly built for
Adsense.
I hope that helps.
